Check out our available listings here, and talk to one of our agents about how to visit and apply for the home you love. We are available to show properties seven days a week. We respect your schedule and know you’re busy. Contact us to schedule a showing or ask a question.

In order for your application to be complete we will need a completed application from anyone applying over the age of 18. Along with a photo ID, proof of income and photos of pets or service animals if applicable. Please note your application is considered incomplete until we have all the documents needed from the entire household. A non-refundable processing fee is $55.00 per applicant.

Finding a Rental Home in Portland

  • In order for your application to be complete we will need a completed application from anyone applying over the age of 18. Along with a photo ID, proof of income and photos of pets or service animals if applicable. Please note your application is considered incomplete until we have all the documents needed from the entire household. A non-refundable processing fee is $55.00 per applicant.
  • Give yourself plenty of time to find the right home. Keep in mind that most property management companies are not available on the weekends to show homes so most of them will want to schedule viewing appointments during weekday business hours.
  • Take the time to browse vacancies in your area, there are many national rental websites that list vacancies with a description and photographs. Keep in mind that most vacancies are filled within a 30 day period so if you find a home you are especially interested in, time is of the essence.
  • Keep in mind that most property management companies will require you to drive by the home prior to setting an appointment to show the inside.
  • Once an application has been approved, we require that the prospective tenant pay a fee to hold the home for up to two weeks. This fee is nonrefundable and is applied towards the tenant’s move-in costs.

  • We have a mail slot for convenient 24-hour a day rent drops, or make it easy on yourself and pay your rent online through your tenant portal.
  • We have a 24-hour per day fax line and work order online portal for maintenance requests.

We've had Performance Properties manage our Portland triplex for more than a decade! Much has changed in Portland in this time. But PPI's helpful efforts, especially by Sonja Snedeker, their chief accountant, over the years, is something we can count on! The list of things Sonja has helped us with is incredible--from pulling year-end tax documents, explaining monthly charges, going the extra mile with property insurance records! We appreciate her work and Zack Zahm's efforts, too. We've had the opportunity to switch property managers, but we did not. We can't imagine having the same good and careful care with any other company!

Having lived in a Performance Properties managed home for the last 5 years I can say, quite honestly that they have been incredibly responsive to any and all requests for maintenance or repair. Not only was any work completed quickly and professionally, The vendors they used were very helpful, polite and easy to deal with. You really should not have any problems if you rent a property that they control.
